This family was renting a house only three blocks from the coast with the possibility of buying. The house was completely flooded and they lost all they owned -furniture in the living room, dining room, three bedrooms, all appliances, i.e., stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, freezer. They also lost all of their outdoor tools.
All personal belongings were lost. There was no flood insurance. We asked for suggestions for Christmas shopping. The response - Wal-Mart Gift Cards would be appreciated.
