From Bishop Clements...
Recognizing that we are a people diverse in ethnicity, but having commonality of being one creative blood through Jesus Christ, our goal is to take the gospel of His Kingdom to every city, town and community in North America. To promote church planting whereas to provide a gathering place for the multitude of restless and confused people across this land; to equip and train ministry to be more effective in the harvest and to promote unity in the Body of Christ and encourage team effort among all Christians.
North America is a mosaic of people representing five hundred ethnic groups who communicate in 636 languages and dialects. North America officially has the title of being the third largest mission field in the world. Two-thirds of the world’s immigrants are currently coming to North America. There are more Swedes than in Sweden, more Irish than in Ireland, more Jews than in Israel, more Italians than in Rome, and more Puerto Ricans than in San Juan. Cleveland, Ohio alone has more Ukrainians than any city in the world except Kiev. In California, there are 239 languages that are spoken; in Washington, 181 and in Texas 169. In the United States, there are over twenty-four million foreign-born residents, which is one out of every eleven people. There are more than 400,000 international students from 181 nations that study at North American Universities.
The harvest opportunities of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ have never been greater. God in His own way has brought the world’s mission field to our door.
The leadership team of North America consists of General Presbyter, Sam N. Clements and thirty-one State/Regional and National Overseers serving the United States and Canada.
