Welcome to the CM HelpLine--
Organizing and Maintaining Your Children’s Ministry
Our goal is to help you build and manage your vision of a powerful and effective children’s ministry for your local church, area, or region.
Our names are Curt and Sandy Knowles, and we have been involved in Children’s Ministries for a number of years. We have served as Children’s Pastors at churches in South Carolina, Kentucky, and North Carolina, as Regional Children’s Ministry Directors for the state of Kentucky, and as children’s summer camp evangelists in Ohio and South Carolina. We have been honored to train children’s ministers at ICM and other regional events in the United States and abroad at the International Institute for Children’s Ministry in Kiev, Ukraine.
Curt holds a Masters Degree in Theology and Bachelors Degrees in Computer Science and Theology, and Sandy holds a Bachelors Degree in Theology. Sandy is currently serving as Children’s Pastor at the Bethany Church of God of Prophecy in Stedman, North Carolina. Curt is currently serving as the Editor for the International Children’s Ministry e-Bulletin, “Developing Leaders, Impacting Kids.”
As the Children’s Pastor at Bethany, Sandy is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ministry to children from birth through 5th grade, including regular services and events, Pioneer Club ministries, and an After-School Care ministry known as “The Zone”. She manages a team of over 35 volunteers and 8 paid staff members. Each week, over 100 different children throughout the community come to Bethany to receive ministry and care.
We bring a passion and vision for Children’s Ministry that includes a desire to encourage and strengthen other children’s pastors in their calling. We are committed to giving boys and girls a foundation from which they can experience a lifetime of relationship with God, and to helping children find their natural giftings as they become serviceable to their generation in the Lord’s work.
We look forward to serving you on this site. Please feel free to contact us with questions you have, or issues you encounter, as you work to develop a strong and dynamic ministry to children and their families.
